Call for Abstracts!
The Mountain State Conference on Disabilities

How are you helping individuals with disabilities on their ‘Journey to the Top’? Share your expertise with individuals, families, health care professionals, social workers, teachers, policy makers and others by submitting an abstract to present at the first annual Mountain State Conference on Disabilities from April 14-15, 2020 in Canaan Valley.
The planning committee is interested in receiving abstracts pertaining to research, evaluation, evidence-based programs and policies pertaining to this year’s conference theme "Journey to the Top." Conference tracks include Transitions, Employment, Health & Wellness and Disability Rights.
Successful abstracts will be chosen to provide a successful list of best practice, evidence-based presentations, poster sessions, panels, and applied skill-based workshops. We are also seeking abstracts that would be presented in hands-on, interactive and engaging ways to share information, showcase individual success stories, highlight advocacy and access solutions to community-wide issues within various program tracks.
Submission Deadline – Abstracts are due December 15, 2019.
Notification – Presenters will be notified via email of abstract status by January 10, 2020.
