Casting Call: Person-Centered Care training video

The West Virginia University Center for Excellence in Disabilities (WVU CED) is seeking West Virginians with disabilities to participate in a video interview (either in-person or virtual) to be featured in a Person-Centered Care virtual training module for the West Virginia Bureau for Medical Services.

Participants will be asked to share their perspectives on the importance of Person-Centered Care when receiving services from direct care staff, case managers and other service providers.

Person-Centered Care is defined as integrated health care services delivered in a setting and manner that is responsive to the individual and their goals, values and preferences, in a system that empowers patients and providers to make effective care plans together.

Participants who are selected will receive a $100 stipend for their time.
