IMPACT WV and the WV Peer Recovery Training Center to offer free Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Ethics training in August
Trainings will be held at the WVU CED's Morgantown location.

The IMPACT WV program at the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities (CED) has collaborated with the WV Peer Recovery Training Center to offer a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS), Peer Recovery Coach, and Ethics training at the CED's Morgantown location. The training is limited to 25 participants who reside in West Virginia.
When: August 11-15 (35-hour PRSS training)
August 18-19 (16-hour Ethics training)
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day
Where: WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities

Objectives:
- Learn about the role of a peer recovery support specialist and a peer recovery coach.
- Learn how to build effective communication and networking skills.
- Learn how to facilitate recovery planning.
- Learn about the importance of self-care and professional development.
